5 members of looters’ gang arrested Angul:
A gang of looters was busted in Angul district. Five members of the gang were arrested by the town police. The gang was planning to execute a robbery at weekly market area in Angul when the town police nabbed them. The police seized several weapons from their possession.The arrested persons have been identified as Pinku Behera (29), Babul Behera (27), Abhay Kumar Sahu (29), Baga Sahu (25), and Balam Behera (24).Weapons, including five handmade bombs, one packet of chili powder, two knives, three iron rods, six mobile phones, and a cash amount of Rs. 1.51 lakh have been recovered from them.
